В отличие от предыдущих десятилетий сейчас китайцы серьезно относятся к вопросам безопасности автомобилей. Втч и предоставляя их на тестирование европейским органам сертификации. Логика простая, европейский рынок рассматривается как перспективный, поэтому к местным нормам надо приспосабливаться.

В 2022 прошла испытания E-NCAP и Omoda C5, заработав 5 звезд из 5 возможных:

  • защита водителя - 87%;
  • защита ребенка в детском кресле - 87%;
  • защита пешехода - 68%;
  • системы безопасности - 88%.
